IBPS PO recruitment 2015-2016 / IBPS Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee Recruitment 2015/ Bank PO Recruitment 2015

IBPS, an autonomous body, will conduct the online examination (Preliminary and Main) for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in the Participating Organisations tentatively scheduled in October 2015.

IBPS invites applications from the eligible candidates for the post of Bank PO Probationary Officer in more than 23 banks.  Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join any of the Participating Organisations as a Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee or in a similar post in that cadre, is required to register for the Common Recruitment Process (CWE PO/MT-V).

Important Dates for IBPS PO Exam 2015:

Online registration start date : 10th July to 1st August 2015
IBPS Pre Exam date: 18th to 23rd September 2015
IPBS main Exam date: 31st October 2015

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS PO Recruitment 2015

The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

Age (As on 01.07.2015):
Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 30 years i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1985 and not later than 01.07.1995 (Relaxation as per govt. norms).

IBPS PO Exam will be conducted in two tiers i.e. preliminary examination and mains exam.

1) Global Peace Index 2015:

India was placed at the 143rd position, the same as 2014.

Released by : Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) released the Global Peace Index (GPI) 2015. It measured peace for 162 countries constituting 99.6 of the world population.

Objective : The GPI 2015 measured peace, its causes and its economic value during 2014. The index gauged global peace using three broad themes: the level of safety and security in society, the extent of domestic and international conflict and the degree of militarisation.

Which Country topped the list ?
Iceland is the most peaceful country, followed by Denmark and Austria at second and third positions, respectively.

  • The first International Day of Yoga was on 21 June 2015 observed globally.
  • 192 countries celebrated the first International Yoga Day on 21 June 2015.
  • India by celebrating the first International Yoga Day in Rajpath, New Delhi created two Guinness World Records (GWRs) on 21 June 2015. The two records include participation of most individuals and individuals from the largest number of nationalities performing asanas at a single venue.

2) FIFA U-20 World Cup Winner : Serbia won 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup by defeating Brazil 2-1.

3) Gerry Weber Open tennis title : Roger Federer won Gerry Weber Open tennis title for eighth time.  

4) Austrian Grand Prix  Winner: Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg of Germany won Austrian Grand Prix of Formula One.

6) A book titled “Beyond Doubt: A Dossier on Gandhi's Assassination “ written by Teesta Setalvad launched.

7) India was placed at 61st position in terms of foreigners’ money in Swiss banks. This was revealed by latest data released by Swiss National Bank (SNB), the central bank of Switzerland, in the fourth week of June 2015.

As per the data, India now accounts for a meagre 0.123 per cent of the total global wealth worth 1.6 trillion US dollars in Switzerland's banking system.

8) Sanjay Subrahmanyam selected for ‘Sangita Kalanidhi’ award 2015
One of the foremost south Indian classical vocalists, Sanjay Subrahmanyam has been selected for the ‘Sangita Kalanidhi’ award 2015. It will be bestowed upon him when he will preside over the 89th annual conference of the Academy which will be held between December 15, 2015 and January 1, 2016.

5) The Union Cabinet gave its approval for Housing for All by 2022 Mission aimed at providing housing facilities to all eligible people in urban areas by 2022.

Utility bill which is not more than two months old of any service provider (electricity, telephone, postpaid mobile phone, piped gas, water bill) for the limited purpose of proof of address are deemed to be Officially Valid Documents under  simplified measures.

7) The high-level committee constituted by Union government in September 2014 to restructure the Railways and suggest ways for resource mobilization has suggested measures for restructuring the Railway Board and its departments so that policy making is separated from day-to-day operations.

Staff Selection Commission published the official notification for the recruitment of Lower Division Clerks, Data entry operators and Assistants in various Central Govt. Departments. Interested candidates can fill SSC Combined Higher Secondary (CHSL) Exam’s application form online from 13th June 2015.

CHSL LDC DEO Recruitment Exam is conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Commission ) every year and huge number of candidates apply for this exam.

The Staff Selection Commission will hold an examination for Recruitment of Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators and Lower Divisional Clerks on Sundays 01.11.2015, 15.11.2015 and 22.11.2015.

Total Vacancies in SSC CHSL LDC DEO Recruitment 2015:

Age Limit: 18-27 years as on 01.08.2015 (Candidates born not before02-08-1988 and not later than 01-08-1997.

Application fee: Payment of application fee is exempted for all women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped and Ex-servicemen eligible for reservation, as per Government orders.

The candidates submitting application offline (paper mode) should pay the fee of Rs 100 (Rupees one hundred only).

SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level CHSL Exam 2015 Pattern and syllabus : The examination will consist of a Written Examination and Skill Test for the post of Data Entry Operator and Written Test and Typing Test for the post of Postal Assistant & Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) and Lower Division Clerk on Computer.

a) English Language - 50 marks (including Essay and Letter Writing)
b) General Intelligence and Reasoning - 50 marks
c) Quantitative Aptitude - 50 marks
d) General Awareness - 50 marks

Mode of selection: Candidates will be shortlisted for the skill test/Typing Test on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination. Candidates who qualify in the skill test/Typing Test will be recommended for appointment by the Commission on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination. Allocation of candidates will be made to User Departments depending upon their merit position and the option exercised by them.
